By letter dated 27th February, 1969, the Honourable K. M. McCaw, M.L.A., Attorney General made reference to this Commission in the following terms:
"To review the law relating to the validity and enforcement of covenants in restraint of trade.”
The enclosed working paper expresses tentative proposals which the Commission presently has under consideration. It will be appreciated that the members of the Commission are as yet uncommitted to these proposals and it would be incorrect to describe them as the views of the Commission. Nor may any implication be drawn as to what may be Government policy on any matter.
The paper is circulated to persons and bodies known to be interested. Comment is invited. It is requested that any such comment should be forwarded to the Executive Member, Law Reform Commission, Park House, 187 Macquarie Street, Sydney, 2000, so as to be received by 30th May, 1969.
J. K. MANNING
CHAIRMAN.
