What's New

• The NSW Government has introduced a statutory declaration for informal relative caregivers (caregivers) to declare that they have primary responsibility for the regular care of a child or children.

• Tree disputes: the Government has accepted all recommendations of the review of the Trees (Disputes Between Neighbours) Act 2006. Amendments to the Act will be prepared for Parliament’s consideration. Read the Attorney General's media release here.

• The Commonwealth House of Representatives are currently conducting an inquiry into cyber crime in Australia. NSW lodged a submission calling for stronger cyber crime offences 29 July 2009.
